Wisconsin Works (W-2)
Wisconsin Works (W-2) is a program that provides employment preparation services, case management and cash assistance to eligible families. Low-income parents with children in their household under age 18 may participate in W-2, if eligible. We help participants find employment, provide work experience, connect with education opportunities and provide case management services to help them stay employed and advance in their career. Participants complete 30-40 hours of weekly activities based off of their employment goals. They earn a monthly payment by completing these activities. Payments are determined based off of the type of Placement the participant qualifies for. We have placements for participants who are work ready and also participants who have barriers preventing them from gaining employment independently.
