What is a Dislocated Worker?
A dislocated worker is a person who is unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own, such as laid off from job.
Someone who has been terminated or laid off and who are eligible for or have exhausted their unemployment benefits.
How to Apply for Dislocated Worker Grant?

Contact your local job center: The first step is to visit your local job center or the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development website to see if you are eligible for funded training opportunities.

Meeting with your Career Planner: If you are deemed eligible, you will work with a career planner to develop a plan to achieve your employment goals.

Select a Training Provider: Your career planner can help you choose from a list of approved training providers to access funded programs.
